This was our first time eating at the Steer Inn. The steaks were great, the service was fantastic. We had a great time, this was a great experience. Would definitely go back again.
Always enjoy going to the Steer Inn. Great steaks an great service. Have never been unhappy.
...its not the same as the Orange location. Saw some familiar faces...we are hopefull.
A proper steak, a proper place, extremely nice and efficient service in a western saloon style setting. I had the 12-ounce plank steak, cooked medium-rare to perfection, generous side of baked potato and soup.
This is a great American fare place. The Red house wine was quite delightful, Goes great with the sauteed mushrooms and steak. Steer Inn is definitely a favorite if mine. There is something yummy for everyone. Fish n chips goooood!! Chicken fried steak, maybe?
First time there loved the steak
Average. I chose the house special and while my request for medium rare was spot on, perfect even, the meat was just okay. My waitress was very attentive and took good care of me. Decent portions with the size of the steak, a potato and soup or salad for 20 bucks. I suppose I shouldn't complain.
Superb food, ambiance & service
Food good, I enjoyed my steak and potatoes. They were down a waitress because she went home sick. The girl waiting out table did the best she could. She was very overwhelmed but never took it out on us. Was a little slow but we made it work. The place is kind of a dive...dark with lots of boothes. Gives the feeling of an old bar/pub.
Good food & reasonable prices.
Good food, great service and priced fair. We enjoyed our visit very much and will definitely return.
I left the door to the restaurant with a feeling of something to be desired. Interesting layout.
Best budget steak out there. Sides generally do little to impress though.
My boyfriend and I came here for the first time after he had a rough day at work. He'd been craving steak, and I wanted to find a good place that wouldn't break the bank. Mission accomplished! The prices here are reasonable, with generous portions. We were continually impressed throughout the meal by the freshness of the food and the flavor. Even better, our server was awesome and never left us with empty glasses or waiting around wanting to order something else. The atmosphere was also very cozy and enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!
The Steer Inn is a long time favorite. Known for their steaks they also offer non-meat items such as fried chicken, chicken breasts, fried shrimp, a fish kabob and a couple of salads. They offer a very nice selection of steaks for those so inclined.Meals include soup or salad and some type of potato.I had the large 1/2 fries chicken, a rare splurge. My wife always gets the fried shrimp. The serve beer and wine and make a good Sangria. Can get busy on special occasion nights, and perhaps some evenings. We were there over the weekend about 7pm and there was no wait. There are two Steer Inn's, one in Anaheim and the other on Tustin Avenue a short distance below the SR 22 Freeway. It's a small operation with a cordial staff, decent prices, good food and years of experience.I always try to visit non-chain restaurants, and happily recommend trying the Steer In.
Great steak and service very good eats. The price is very reasonable.
Nice place. I haven't been there for a while and their prices are just a little high. We had great service and it was nice and quiet
Reliable good meal
Great spot for a steak. I've been coming here for 20 years since I was a kid. Great customer service.
Good old country steakhouse. Quaint and quiet with good food, comfortable booths, and clean restrooms. Had the filet and garlic mash. Lots of country music throwbacks (80's and 90's) that I remember and enjoy, but not playing so loud I can't hear the person across from me. Very nice server!
Awesome service and food 👍
I've been eating at Orange Steer Inn for years, I've eaten at all of them from Victorville to Palmdale, Rosemead to Rancho, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County never ever have I had a bad meal, well tonight in over 35 yrs I had a bad meal, asked for Rice pilaf & received some gummy white rice with some carrots & peas tossed in terrible, the 1000 island dressing I've always bragged about why the heck did they change it, it's terrible, now the Steaks they had a wierd taste couldn't figure it out my friend left ½ his Steak, one of worst experiences I've had in a restaurant in years
We walked in the door, was seated at a booth with menus and a smile. The young lady said our waiter will be Angel. A minute later Angel appears asking about drinks and appetizers. He brought us our drinks and he took our dinner/appetizer orders. Shortly, our drinks and the appetizer and salads came. Our dinners came to the table soon after. All the food was prepared fit for a king and drinks satisfyingly good.Angel is a great member of the staff and great personality. We will be back again.
Food is great. Atmosphere is casual. Prices are reasonable.
We used to drive to this Steer Inn when I was a little girl e my family. The saw dust on the floor brings back so many good memories 🙌. But then we moved 2 Placentia, but still went to the Tustin store. Then they built the 1 on Lakeview- across from the hospital. We went there 4 many years. NEVER ONCE ,did I ever leave there, wanting 4 more. Their staff is alwas very accommodating. Now it's back 2 the Tustin store, but, w the same great service& food☺!
Great food for the price. Small place that's usually not super crowded. Steak isn't high quality, but a good value. Nice staff.
Love the food and service. A great place to go for a nice, quiet dinner.
We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. Friendly staff and great food makes for an enjoyable evening.
Cozy atmosphere, great food and great service.
Great simple country atmosphere and reasonable steaks. My favorite is the Rib steak.
We love Steer Inn. We've been going for about seven years and we've never had a bad experience. It's one of those hole in the wall places that really feels like home. Mary is the greatest server in the history of the world! The prices have gone up a bit over the years, but I attribute that to the rising prices of beef nationwide. Don't expect fancy. Don't expect a white glove experience. It's simple, it's delicious, and totally worth it.
Very good food and nice place
We tried this place for the first time yesterday. It was pretty good. I got a steak cooked medium and it was cooked exactky that way. The service was good. This place has been here for a long time. We will be going back again.
I have been wanting to eat here for years and finally I went in to try the steak.....well let me say that I'm happy that I did and mad that it took me this long to enjoy a good juice steak with a bake potato and good garlic bread. You looking for a good steak dinner well the steer inn is the place to go. Will be going back to try the porterhouse steak.
Friendly staff, consistently good food.
Been here a couple times, its an old school style of streak house. Not a big wine selection and food is ok. Its close to home and whenever you are need of comfort food, this is the place.
Prices are to high. But great steaks
5 Stars enough said. Stockyard!!
Great steak and friendly staff. Order meat, steak preferably, and you won't be disappointed.
The Steer inn will be missed very much on Lakeview Anaheim hills jerry and jenna are the Greatest bartenders in California. God bless.MJ
This place was inexpensive and kitschy but the food was not very notable. We had the steak dinner. While some really enjoyed it (thus the 3 stars), 4 of us were agreed it was a not so good meal.
Great food. Salad was plentiful and colorful with mixed greens. The "Old Fashion Rib Steak" was perfect and was very tender - almost like cutting through butter. Service was excellent, although the female staff's uniforms were too casual and more like street clothes (worn out jeans and regular top) Great value for a midweek date night.💏
The best food...service...and always with a smile!
Great steaks and ambiance. Good prices too.
Awesome place, nice vibe and friendly staff, Randy was awesome. They have great food at an even better price! I had the rib steak
Excellent service & food for a Reasonable price
One of the most underrated places I've ever been. I had a quality meal from beginning to end, and the steak was very well prepared. If you want a steak without high-end steakhouse prices, then this place is for you.
This place does the best steak, bacon wrapped filet mignon, with a generous salad, baked potato and garlic bread. It's located in a strip mall between Harbor Freight and 99 cent store. The inside of the restaurant is charming an assortment of stain glass lights and saw dust on the floor. The service was quick, and the steak was served on a very hot platter, still sizzling. They also offer cooked veggies if you don't want potatoes.
Great place not fancy but very good steak and chicken
Food is very good no complaints
